Teaching Experience

My teaching areas include piano, collaborative piano, class piano, chamber music, and music theory. Students from my private studio in Austin have earned recognition in competitions and festivals such as the ISMI Concerto Competition, the Steinway Gallery Concerto Competition, and PianoTexas.

I currently serve on the piano and chamber music faculty at the Austin Chamber Music Center, Chamber Music Academy, and the International Summer Music Institute at the University of North Texas.

My teaching approach is holistic, combining performance training with technical development, stylistic interpretation, and theoretical and historical understanding. I tailor each lesson to the individual student’s personality, goals, and learning style, fostering critical thinking, artistic independence, and meaningful growth.
